Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We only collect what you give us, and only what we need to run the product.

• Account information - your name, email, company, phone, and role, captured when you register.
• Sales context - your buyers, product details, pain points, deal sizes, and methodology preferences, captured during intake to generate your personalised program.
• Usage data - which features you use, when, and how often, used to improve the platform.

We do not buy data about you from third parties. We do not enrich your profile from external sources without telling you.

2. How we use it

• To run your account and deliver the platform.
• To generate your personalised sales program from your intake.
• To send you account notifications, trial status updates, and product changes that affect you.
• To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your account data or the content you generate with advertisers. (Our public marketing website uses limited advertising analytics - see section 8.)

3. Data storage and security

Your account data and generated outputs are stored in Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II compliant database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access inside your workspace is restricted to you and any team members you explicitly invite.

4. AI processing

The content you enter during intake is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your outputs. Anthropic processes the data under their commercial API terms, which prohibit training on customer inputs. We do not use your data to train any model, ours or theirs.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information in your account.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Export your data at any time - generated outputs via the built-in Word export, and your CRM deals and contacts via one-click CSV export.

To exercise any of these, email support@thedealmentor.ai. We respond within 30 days, usually faster.

6. Service providers we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers we need to run the product, each acting on our behalf:

• Supabase - hosting and database (your account data and outputs).
• Anthropic - AI processing of your intake to generate outputs, under commercial API terms that prohibit training on your inputs.
• Paddle - our merchant of record, which processes your payment and billing details. We do not store full card numbers.
• HubSpot - our CRM for sales and support, which receives your registration details (name, email, company, phone) so we can respond to you.
• PostHog - product analytics: events about feature usage tied to your account ID, used internally to improve the product.

Business customers who need a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) or a current sub-processor list can request one at support@thedealmentor.ai.

7. International data transfers

We operate from Israel, and some of our providers (including Supabase and Anthropic) process data in the United States and other countries. By using the service you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data-protection laws than yours.

8. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Inside the product we use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and PostHog for product analytics (see above). We do not place advertising cookies inside the app.

On our public marketing website (thedealmentor.ai) we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag and a LinkedIn conversion pixel to measure our advertising and understand which campaigns bring visitors. Where required by law, we ask for consent before loading these. You can opt out of LinkedIn advertising in your LinkedIn settings, and block or clear cookies in your browser.

9. Data retention

We keep your account data and outputs for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and outputs within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records (for example, billing records) to meet legal or accounting obligations.

10. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves and laws change. Material changes will be communicated to your account email before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the most recent version.
